Forging is the application of thermal and mechanical energy to steel billets or ingots to cause the material to change shape while in a solid state. The bonus of forged steel is that the metal becomes stronger than equivalent types that are cast or machined.
Is your last child grown and ready to leave the home? Perhaps they’ve already moved out? You may be feeling some mixed emotions. You may have extra time on your hands and not know what to do with it. While our lives may be changing and taking on a new shape, let us forge forward and strengthen one another.
