DESCRIPTION:Ocean's End and Healthy Land = Healthy Water are installations about Lenawee County's water quality and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Brenda Oelbaum\, artist and feminist\, began collecting oil paintings of oceans\, and beaches to combine with the stark reality of plastic that has polluted all of the water on earth. Brenda and her son Leo have beautifully installed this installation that portrays the destructive reality of plastic. Sybil Kolon\, curator\, of Healthy Land = Healthy Water has amassed a treasure trove of information about the organizations working in Lenawee County to clean our waterways.
