Improving Your Painting Through Still Life at Kate's Art School

This class is for the beginner and intermediate. The class is geared towards individual growth regardless of one’s “style”. During the first class, students will work on an “alla prima” or direct study of a single object of their choice to simplify the problems of still life painting. In subsequent classes students will work on a multi-session painting. Students will learn to focus on setting a solid foundation first and then work towards a finished study. No prior art experience needed.
