There will be breaks throughout the event to give track personnel, time to work on the track if necessary and prepare and post additional races and race results.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ALL CLASSES
1. You must have a number on your race unit; numbers must be a minimum of 6” in height and legible from a distance for scoring purposed. if you do not have one we’ll provide one for you
2. Riders finishing in the top three positions (in each class) will receive an awarded. If an Award is to be given for 4th place, it will announced at the drivers meeting or at the end of the event.
3. A tether cord must be present on all ATV’s & Motorcycles competing during the event. Tether cords must be in working condition throughout the entire event (not just at tech inspection). Random tether cord testing may be enforced. All Motorcycles must have a functional front brake, all motorcycles and ATV’s must have a balled end on all handlebar levers. Helmet use is mandatory at all times. It is highly recommended proper clothing be worn during competition.
4. Minimum age of participants is 3. Any participant under the age of 18 must have a release of liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Liability waivers will be available at registration.
5. No riding, practice or any type of closed competition will be allowed on a hill 5 days prior to event.
6. Riders may use the same motorcycle or ATV in more than one class. Two or more Riders may use the same motorcycle or ATV in the same day's program.
7. The motorcycle or ATV that is used on the 1st attempt must be used on the 2nd 3rd etc. and in the elimination round. No changing out motorcycles or ATV’s between attempts.
8. The Rider must be physically capable and mature enough to control his/her machine at all times, this includes stopping, starting, standing still, mounting, dismounting and during the race. Training wheels are not allowed.
9. The Event Director has the authority to disqualify a rider who can’t safely control his/her machine.
10. To qualify for the year end Championship awards you must attend all Event Series Races in that class.
POINTS:
Points will be awarded in each class (except exhibition class)
1st - 20 pts 6th - 9 pts 11th - 4 pts
2nd - 16 pts 7th - 8 pts 12th - 3 pts
3rd - 13 pts 8th - 7 pts 13th - 2 pts
4th - 11 pts 9th - 6 pts 14th - 1 pts
5th - 10 pts 10th - 5 pts
CLASS RULES:
1. The minimum age for riders is 3. In all events, a rider must be within the guidelines of the classes descriptions in the VHC Class & Race Order Schedule.
2. If you sign up for a class that you are not authorized to race in, you will not be allowed to race and you will forfeit your entry fee for that class. One point only will be awarded for showing up to race.
CONDUCT:
1. General riding in the pit / spectator area is allowed under the following conditions only: Accessing the staging area for your race. Transporting racing accommodation i.e. tools, ez-up, tables, chairs, etc. to and from your primary parking area to the event pit area. Slow speeds are to be maintained at all times in the pit and staging area. Your speeds should not exceed an idle speed.
2. Riders meeting attendance is mandatory, failure to attend the meeting will forfeit your permission to compete in the event. (You will only receive one point per class entered)
3. Pit / staging area is limited to one crew person per rider.
4. All race personnel, officials, riders, mechanics, photographers and anyone associated with riders must not consume or be under the influence of intoxicants or drugs that could affect their mental or physical ability, this may result in removal from the facility.
5. Riders and/or family and pit crew who direct foul and abusive language to an event staff member are subject to disqualification from the event and or removal from the facility.
6. Each rider is responsible for the actions of his/her family and pit crew, any detrimental action by these individuals puts the rider at risk of disqualification.
7. Riders and pit crew are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner they are also to comply with any and all club rules, and any direction from event staff members, club members and/or the event director.
8. Motorcycles & ATV’s “NOT PARTICIPATING” in the event are not allowed in pit or spectator area.
PROTEST:
Any rider expressing a need to protest against another rider is to contact the event director. The event director will address the riders concern and make a determination wither a protest is warranted. If the rider is granted approval the racer is to proceed with a formal written protest. The completed protest along with $200.00 is to be submitted to the director for additional review and final decision. Depending on the type of protest, assistance from event personnel and or professional / technical help may be required to ad in making the final decision. Every effort will be made to rule on the protest prior to awards being handed out. If the protest is found valid, money used in filing the protest will be returned to the rider (minus any incurred cost in make final judgment). If the protest is determined non-valid the money used to file the protest (minus any incurred cost in make final judgment) will be offered to the rider that was being protested against.
