Community Conversation Tuesdays at Clinton Arts Center
Presents:
Water Quality - What it really takes to keep our water safe
The River Raisin flows through Clinton, one of many towns that is located where it is because of the Raisin. The Raisin was and is a resource with many benefits. Over the decades we have come to realize that our actions, on the river and throughout the watershed, have a big impact on water quality. Come and learn about the River Raisin and how we can support good water quality, in the river and in our drinking water.
Kevin Cornish is the Village of Clinton Manager and is involved with water quality for the village drinking water as well as the discharge of the waste water treatment plant. Sybil Kolon is a conservation activist involved in maintaining the River Raisin Watershed.
Both Kevin and Sybil are vested in water quality, testing for PFAS and finding ways to keep it out of our water system.
Order Dinner at TWELVE Restaurant at 6:00 and conversation starts at 6:30.
