Members of Irish Hills Sports and Recreation, a nonprofit extension of Heart O’ the Lakes Church, will give a presentation on the proposed restoration of the Star Theatre in downtown Brooklyn during regular club meetings on December 3, 2024, and January 30, 2025. The meeting on December 3 will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion Wilbur-Bartlett Post 315, 211 Chicago St., Brooklyn, and the meeting on January 30 will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Clark Lake Golf Club, 5536 Wesch Rd., Brooklyn.
