Winter Rim Hike at Hidden Lake Gardens
As the snow blankets the ground and snow dust sparkles in the tree canopy, the forest becomes remarkably quiet, and there is a stillness you rarely experience other times of the year. This backcountry rim trek is calling you to gather your wits and prepare yourself to hike from rim to rim to rim through snow clad rolling hills, narrow pathways, and dense thickets. The rolling hills of Hidden Lake Gardens offer big rewards to trekkers who are willing to brave the cold. These rewards will be great long views through leafless open forest and a maze of tracks of the animals that move constantly looking for woody browse to survive just one more day. Whether you are looking to spend some time in nature or are an adventure enthusiast who just wants to explore, this guided experience is for you! Come and see who might be watching you as you enjoy a tromp through the forest.
