This 4 week series introduces you pose-by-pose to the fundamentals of yoga, exploring key postures and their benefits, breathing techniques, and how to develop a healthy and compassionate approach to yourself and your body, whatever your age, ability or level of flexibility. Teaching proper alignment, a sprinkling of philosophy, and mindfulness and meditation along the way, we build week by week, so that, upon completion, you will understand key terminology, have a comfortable familiarity with key postures, and feel confident enough to attend any class.
This course also serves as a great refresher program for those returning to yoga after a break. Sue has 'graduated' many beginner yogis through this program over the years, offering a fun, relaxed, no pressure experience for those new to yoga, and inspiring a life-long love of this transformative and deeply healing practice. We would be honored if you'd allow us to take that first step alongside YOU!
Bonus! All participants in this program will receive a complimentary pass to the deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra class that Sue teaches directly afterwards for the full 4 weeks.
When: Fridays, 6:00pm to 7:15pm ~ September 13th, 20th, 27th & October 4th
Yoga Nidra afterwards is at 7:30-8:30pm
